Pancernik Security Show 2026
Cybersecurity does not stop at the network perimeter. The software running applications, machines, industrial equipment, and embedded devices is itself a valuable digital asset – and one that needs protection against manipulation, reverse engineering, unauthorized use, and attacks on its integrity.
At Pancernik Security Show 2026, cybersecurity specialists and technology providers come together to explore current developments across IT and OT security, from artificial intelligence and threat detection to industrial infrastructure, data protection, and secure digital environments.
Wibu-Systems will be there to add another dimension to the discussion: How do manufacturers protect the software that creates value inside their products and at the same time retain control over how that software is used?
Protecting Software Beyond the Network
Once software leaves the developer's controlled environment, protecting it becomes considerably more challenging. Desktop applications may run on customer premises. Industrial software operates inside machines and production environments. Embedded code is deployed directly onto devices in the field.
In each case, valuable intellectual property can become exposed to analysis, copying, manipulation, or unauthorized use. At the same time, manufacturers increasingly want to control access to individual features and offer customers flexible licensing and entitlement models.
With CodeMeter, Wibu-Systems combines software protection, cryptographic security, and licensing technology in one framework. Software vendors and device manufacturers can protect their code and intellectual property while controlling which users, systems, or devices are entitled to run specific applications and features.
The same underlying approach can extend from conventional desktop software to industrial and embedded environments.
Talk: How to Effectively Protect and License Software – From Desktop to Embedded Applications
2:40 - 3:10 PM
Janusz Hryszkiewicz, Software Protection and Licensing Specialist / Country Manager Poland at Wibu-Systems, will demonstrate how code protection and secure, flexible software licensing can work together in practice.
Using an on-premises desktop application as the main example, the presentation will show the complete process: protecting the application, creating the corresponding license, and securely delivering that license to the user with Wibu-Systems technology.
The session will then take the same principles into the embedded world, using a Raspberry Pi-based implementation to illustrate how software protection and licensing can be applied to industrial devices and embedded systems.
Participants will see how a consistent security and licensing approach can help manufacturers:
- Protect proprietary code against analysis and unauthorized copying
- Prevent manipulation and unauthorized use of software
- Control access to licensed applications and individual features
- Create and securely deliver software entitlements
- Apply protection and licensing concepts across desktop, industrial, and embedded environments
From Protecting Infrastructure to Protecting Digital Value
IT and OT security require multiple layers of protection. Networks, identities, systems, and data all matter, but so does the software that makes modern products and infrastructure work.
Meet Wibu-Systems at Pancernik Security Show 2026 and discover how CodeMeter can help protect software as both a technological asset and a source of digital business value.
